  • Q: what type of facial should i get?

    A: this is totally dependent on your skincare goals! i recommend that if it’s your first visit, book in for one of the “custom” facial options so the treatment can be completely customized to your needs! i also offer complimentary 15 minute skincare consultations.

    Q: how often should i get a facial treatment?

    A: it is recommended that you get a facial treatment every four to eight weeks. this ensures that your skin stays soft, supple, and hydrated, while ensuring that your home care products work as effectively as possible!

    Q: will my skin break out or “purge” after my facial?

    A: depending on the treatment we choose to do for your skin, it’s possible that exfoliation can bring impurities to the surface, which can result in a small breakout. rest assured, any type of “purge” typically is SUPER minor and resolves itself quickly. you will always be informed of any potential side effects as well as necessary post-care.

  • Q: how long does my hair need to be in order for me to be able to be waxed?

    A: to ensure proper removal, hair needs to be about 1/4 of an inch long - about the length of a grain of rice. you can still definitely receive a wax if the hair is longer!

    Q: how often should i get waxed?

    A: 4-6 weeks is what is recommended for regular waxing appointments.

    Q: can i go to the gym after i get waxing done? what about the hot tub or sauna? i think i might even go horseback riding with my best friend tomorrow morning!

    A: after you get waxed, your skin will typically feel a little bit sensitive. it is recommended that you keep the area cool, dry, and friction-free. this is totally dependent on what type of waxing we did and how experienced you are with being waxed. you can be confident in knowing that you will leave your appointment with all the aftercare knowledge you’ll ever need!

  • Q: what is a lash lift and brow lamination?

    A: lash lifting and brow lamination are semi-permanent treatments that realign the hairs to create a more desirable shape. in the case of lashes, a lift will give them an effortless curl. a brow lamination will give the brows a fuller, more shaped look!

    Q: how long does it last?

    A: lash lifting and brow lamination will last 4-6 weeks with proper aftercare.

    Q: what is the aftercare?

    A: it is recommended that you don’t get your lashes/brows wet for 24 hours and that you avoid rubbing them for that time period as well.

  • Q: where are you located?

    A: i am located at be u lounge suites at 1530 merivale road in ottawa!

    Q: is your space wheelchair accessible?

    A: unfortunately no, it isn’t.

    Q: why haven’t you haven’t answered my email?

    A: i am a one woman show - i do all the services, laundry, inventory, social media and emails by myself! if i haven’t answered you in 24 hours, feel free to shoot me another message, but please be mindful that i am unable to reach my phone during services. for this reason, i recommend booking online if you can!
